Why is it difficult to get a ballpark budget for my cabinet project?
It's not anymore, we've made it easy!
Use our simple linear foot method to easily calculate a cabinet budget number for your next project. This number represents an average range and includes delivery and installation.
This method is not intended to provide an exact quote for your project, rather a general range for budget purposes. There are numerous factors that can effect your budget including door styles, finishes, hardware, inserts, pull-outs, storage solutions, & trim.
This budget number does not include other aspects of your renovation such as demo, counter tops, tile, flooring, fixtures, appliances, plumbing, electrical, etc. We are happy to help with other aspect of your project, but pricing requires an in-depth review with our trade partners.
Check out the example below to learn how to easily calculate a cabinet budget number for your upcoming project in two easy steps: Measure & Multiply!
Example Kitchen
In the pictured example kitchen, we need to take (3) measurements in order to calculate a budget number:
-
Measure from the corner of the wall, to the edge of the cabinets (8' for this example)
- Measure from the corner of the wall, to the edge of the fridge panel (7' for this example)
- Measure the width of the island (5' for this example). Because islands get finished both sides, we need to multiply this number by 2 (10' for this example)

This results in 25 linear feet (8' + 7' + 10'). Multiply this linear footage by the desired product line:
• Manufactured cabinets: $500-$1000
• Custom cabinets: $1000 - $1600+
The budget range for this example kitchen would start at $12,500 using manufactured cabinets and $25,000 using custom cabinets.
